Xcede are exclusively working with growing Travel Tech company.

You will be the first data hire in the buisiness, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the data culture and strategy from the ground up. You'll play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions, building the infrastructure, and developing models that will have a direct impact on the direction and success of our company.

What You'll Do:

• Data Strategy: Define and execute the data strategy, including data collection, storage, processing, and analysis to support our product and business goals.
• Data Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure the availability of clean, reliable data.
• Data Analytics: Conduct deep dives into our data to uncover insights that inform product development, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
• Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to enhance product features, such as recommendation systems, personalization engines, or demand forecasting.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Mentorship & Growth: As our data team grows, you'll have the opportunity to mentor new team members and set the foundation for a high-performing data function.

Required:

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in data science and/or data engineering, with a solid understanding of Python, SQL, and big data technologies
• Builder's Mentality: You enjoy creating something from nothing, and you're excited by the challenge of setting up the entire data ecosystem from scratch.
