Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead and oversee test management activities across complex software projects. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of test governance, test planning, and test execution within the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the test concept for projects in alignment with test governance standards.
• Create and align test plans based on project scope, timelines, and test objects.
• Define and create test cases in collaboration with sub-team leaders and business units.
• Estimate and clarify effort, resources, and timelines required for testing.
• Oversee the test execution process, ensuring effective use of relevant tools (Jira, Confluence, test facilities, etc.).
• Coordinate test execution in collaboration with project sub-teams.
• Produce regular test reports and recommend necessary corrective measures.
• Present test results and support interpretation with customers and development teams.
• Document lessons learned to continuously improve test management processes.
• Provide expertise in test methodology to support knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

• Strong expertise in test management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• At least 1 year of experience in software projects within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Basic database knowledge.
• At least 1 year of Jira and Confluence usage.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT testing experience (30+ hours per week).
• At least 4 years of experience in test management roles.
• Certification: ISTQB Foundation Level (mandatory); ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager (preferred).
• German language proficiency (written and spoken) at C1 level or above.
